Mannequin Challenge
The students are having so much fun with the Mannequin Challenge. Ms. Chohan has received some really great videos. There are three categories that video’s are being judged on: Best Classroom Mannequin Challenge, Best Primary Mannequin Challenge, and Best Intermediate Mannequin Challenge. The Leadership Team will be determining the winners. Winners will receive a pizza party. Below is a Mannequin Challenge done by Mr. Thompson’s class…Hmmm this is a strong contender for first place.
Student Leadership
Caring Hampers
Our Me to We team is making Caring Hampers for two families in need this holiday season. We would like new toys, clothing or gift cards to put into the hampers. There are four girls (ages 2, 4, 8, 10) and one boy (age 8) that need our help. These children have a wish list that includes:
-girls bike (to share between and 8 and 10 year old)
-bike helmet
-clothing
-toys
-gift cards to Walmart or Superstore
Please drop off the gifts at the office unwrapped with a sticky note indicating who the gift is for (age and gender). Our student leaders will be wrapping the gifts and putting the hampers together.
Crazy Fan Day
Last week was our “Crazy Fan Day”. Students and staff came to school dressed up in their fan gear…we had all sorts of crazy fans. Take a look at the pictures below:
Volleyball Season
Thank you to our wonderful teachers for their time and effort in coaching our girls and boys volleyball teams. Mr. Henderson, Ms. Shears, and Mr. Unruh…THANK YOU! The students continued to develop their skills over the season. Most importantly, they learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, encouraging each other, and they had FUN.
Winter Concert
The Winter Concert is on Thursday, December 15th. There are two times for the concert. The first concert showing is at 10:45 am and that will be with the school students as the audience. The second concert showing is at 1 pm and that is for our parent/family audience. The students have been having a lot of fun and working hard with Mrs. Brown. We welcome families to come and enjoy the joy!
Student Learning
Please take a look at the learning that has been happening in our classrooms.
Ms. Darby’s class had an amazing Aboriginal Expo. Student made models and explained their learning. To view more than the pictures below, look at the videos posted on twitter @PacHeights36
